Microsoft Officially Ends Support For Internet Explorer

Microsoft has officially ended support for Internet Explorer version 8, 9 and 10. This means that the company will not issue any more security patches and bug fixes for the three browser versions. However, users can continue to use it on their desktops.

Internet Explorer 11, however, will still be available for users of Windows 7, 8.1 and 10.

Users of IE 8, 9 and 10 can choose to upgrade their browser version of 11.

Microsoft replaced Internet Explorer with the new Edge browser when it released Windows 10 last year.
